What Happens in Vegas…
HELLO PROMO CITY
PPAI is the largest tradeshow in the Promotional Product industry – and what better place to house hundreds of promo peeps than the city of Las Vegas. Most of our staff was in attendance in order to broaden their knowledge as well as find new ways to constantly innovate and enhance our work as a company. We asked our own peeps how the experience affected them individually.
RHYS: Sharing our growing knowledge, presence and industry relationships with our expanding team was great to witness. Watching the enthusiasm and focus that the whole Name Brand crew brought each day was literally humbling to be a part of. I have no doubt the results will bear fruit in both our culture and our ability to deliver relevant offerings to our client base.
SARA: PPAI was exactly what I needed to fully grasp how diverse and expansive the promo industry truly is. It was at times overwhelming, but seeing the market moving in a similar direction – one of higher quality goods and more innovative ideas – was inspiring. Also, stopping at the booths that were manned by people who truly care about their finished products really left an impression.
CLEO: I loved getting inspiration for all the different possibilities when it comes to designing and manufacturing a product. As part of the Creative Department, it was really important to me to see the many ways I could create the same product, at different levels of quality and customization. Hanging out with my co-workers was also pretty cool for the most part.
KEVIN: I have been attending the PPAI show for 16 years. There have been a lot of changes in that period of time but one constant is that everyone is usually trying to show “new” things. Not to say it isn’t easy to get distracted with cool vs practical, the show is a great opportunity to learn what’s available and apply it to our customers needs.
KELLI: My favorite part of PPAI trade show was seeing all the new innovations and product offerings available to present to our customers, including new trends and styles of merchandise.
MANDY: I loved getting fresh ideas from the “unique” promo vendors!
